Hello, my name is Eurico but you may call me Rico, and it’s such a pleasure to meet you! I grew up in Somerville and Cambridge and speak fluent Cape Verdean and comprehend and speak some Portuguese. I love Boston; it’s a great place to call home! I’ve always wanted to help people and give back to my local community. I love volunteering and coaching everything from flag football to basketball at the YMCA. I enjoy officiating basketball games; I have been a certified IAABO official in Massachusetts for over 12 years official and college level men’s basketball official for 3 years. I have a bachelor’s degree is in Social Work from Salem State College. For the past years before I became a real estate agent, I supervised a Men’s Substance Abuse and Empowerment Program in the City of Boston for 15 years. It was a great privilege to assist men age 18 – 60 rebuild their lives and realize goals in a positive way!
I’m blessed with 4 beautiful children: my oldest daughter just graduated from college, 3 kids are still at home (ages 2 – 8). We eventually traded in the always-on city life of Somerville for quiet suburban living in Stoughton now!
I’ve been successfully investing in MA real estate for more than 10 years: jumped in with both feet! My first purchase was a 2 family in Lowell. I’ve been a hands-on landlord, and property manager from day one. I’m handy, and there isn’t much I can’t fix by myself! Currently I own 3 properties, and welcome the opportunity to add more to my growing real estate portfolio.
I want to show young people in particular what they can do with their money... If they only knew what they could be with their savings at an early age!
